Yes. The adjustments are different for babies as compared to adults since their spine is very supple. Their spine can grow up to 50% in length during the first year! This tremendous growth can cause problems. The earlier it is corrected, the less likely it will cause problems later in life.
What are the Most Common Conditions Why Children Visit a Chiropractor?
The most common conditions include: earaches, neck pain, headache, upper respiratory, low back pain, allergies, asthma, enuresis, and thoracic pain. Other reasons are ADD and ADHD, colic, torticollis, insomnia, growing pains, and persistent crying in infants.

I Had Back Surgery. Can I See a Chiropractor?
Dr. Evan will take great care of patients who have had back surgery. Coming to Falls Healing Arts for treatment would not be a problem.
Are Chiropractic Doctors Really Doctors?
Yes. After obtaining an undergraduate degree, it can take 4-5 years to complete doctorate training. Chiropractors do not prescribe drugs or perform surgery.
Does it Hurt Getting Adjusted?
Most of our patients at Falls Healing Arts like getting adjustments and don’t find it painful. However, if the area we are adjusting is sore, it is possible it may be tender for a short period of time after the adjustment. Generally speaking, our patients feel relief within minutes after getting adjusted.
What is the Noise I Hear During an Adjustment?
The popping sound you hear is gas filling a vacuum created when joints are slightly separated. Not all adjustments create a sound.
Why Are X-Rays Taken?
Dr. Evan will review your x-ray to look at the internal structure and alignment of your spine. He looks for conditions such as spinal deterioration, arthritis, abnormal development, bone spurs, disc disorders, tumors and spinal curvature.
